Our office works towards the contribution of societal solutions in Africa and beyond through exemplary doctoral and post-doctoral research, training and service. They lead in championing innovation, integrity, mental stimulation and high performance standards in research, academia and industry.

Dr. John Magambo holds DBA in International Business with a focus of Health Microinsurance from California Miramar University-San Diego USA. He is a Serial entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience. John is an Investment and Strategy Director of Siam Investments Ltd, a sixteen-year-old investment group with interests in both passive and active investments.
He is also Chairman of Capital Hill Securities Ltd, an investment consulting Company, Chairman of Doctoral Association of Eastern Africa and Board Member of United Kenya Club.

Prof. Warue is a PhD holder in Business Administration and Management (Banking & Finance), Masters of Business Administration (MBA) banking and finance option, Masters in Banking and Finance with focus in Microfinance (MBF), Bachelors in Business Administration (BBA) and Diploma in Business Education. She is a teacher by profession and a trainer of trainers (TOT).
Prof. Warue is a full time lecturer with Africa International University (AIU) and currently Dean School of Business & & Economics of AIU. As a part time lecturer she has lectured in over five (5) different universities in areas relating to Business and Management including Accounting, Finance, Microfinance and Research methods. She supervises and externally examines research thesis for masters and PhD students. Prof Warue held a position of coordinating post graduate studies of Kenya Methodist University for two years (2013-2014). She has also successfully organized over 8 academic colloquial workshops attended by doctoral students, Doctors and Professors from different universities sponsored by Doctoral Association of Eastern Africa (DAEA). At AIU she champions in Youth Mentorship activities including talks and training of mentors.
Prof. Warue is widely published in refereed Journals and written a textbook “Principles and Practices of Microfinance in Kenya, and three policy related books for education sector namely “Guidelines On Doctoral Research and Supervision”; “A Kenyan Jual Kali Manual” for informal sector and “The Rural Universities: DAEA’s Case for rural universities in Kenya”. Also, she has presented many academic papers in different International Conferences.
Prof Warue is a blind peer reviewer of Journal of Global Economics, Management and Business Research and British Journal of Economics, Management &Trade. Also she is a registered member of Doctoral Association of Eastern Africa (DAEA) and African Econometric Society. She has closely worked with Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD) and participated broadly in curriculum development for universities and colleges.

Dr. Oginda Florence has over 25 years of experience in both industry and academia. In particular, she has experience in Human Resource management and Strategy formulation and implementation. She doubles up as a lecturer.
She has a good mastery in Human Resource Practices and she is a qualified Human Resource Practitioneras well. She has a lot of experience in the following areas: Strategic management – formulation and execution, Performance management, Change management, leadership, reward management and Executive coaching.
She is a qualified certified Corporate trainer, certified Change specialist and certified Executive Coach.She has also participated in training a range of organizations in Change management and coached a number of Executives as well.
She is a management consultant who has participated in activities ranging from crafting strategic plans for organizations, developing human resource strategies and policies, aligning organizational performance to strategic objectives, conducting Human Resource Audit and delivering change management training for organizations in Kenya. She holds a Doctoral degree in Strategic Management, a Masters Degree in Business Administration(MBA)( Human Resource option) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education

I am a highly dedicated and motivated professional in the field of Peace and Conflict management, Gender mainstreaming, Humanitarian work and Capacity building. I have acquired a high degree of versatility, endurance and with over 20 years of work experience in different positions.
My skills include training and capacity building; project management and implementation; data collection and analysis; research report writing; project planning monitoring evaluation and learning; community dialogue and negotiation facilitation. Particularly keen on nurturing and instilling positive work ethics for the attainment of an all round peak performance in the field of peace-building; conflict management and conflict transformation; capacity building; gender equality; monitoring and evaluation; human resources management and community development.

Dr Wambeti is a curriculum developer specialist and a trainer in the area of curriculum development and business studies. Dr Wambeti has a long teaching experience in the area of microfinance, entrepreneurship, banking and finance. Dr Wambeti has participated in several forums in curriculum development in Kenya specifically on financial literacy, banking and finance, business management, sales and marketing.
Dr. Wambeti is a CPA(K). Dr Wambeti holds a bachelor of education (Business and Economics) from Kenyatta university, MSc in entrepreneurship from Jomo Kenyatta University of Science and Technology, Masters in Banking and Finance (microfinance option) Moi University, and doctoral degree (PhD ) in Business Administration and Management (Banking and Finance option) from Kenya Methodist University.

Wamuyu Mahinda is catalyzing entrepreneurship among Kenya’s rural and urban youth by focusing on re-designing the entire infrastructure that these youth-led businesses need to grow to scale, while inspiring youth from disadvantaged groups to engage in entrepreneurship.
Over 20 years, Wamuyu has had a hand in creating a movement of young Kenyan entrepreneurs and is building on this success to support more young people in rural and urban Kenya to succeed in their entrepreneurial ventures. She founded Youth Banner to work with youth serving organizations all over Kenya in applying the success principles she has learnt over the years to better empower their target groups.
She has worked for several years at the helm of organizations focused on youth enterprise development, including the Kenya Youth Business Trust, Technoserve, and Allavida. In 2007, while at Technoserve, Wamuyu led the largest business plan competition in Kenya’s history in partnership with the Ministry of Youth and launched 100 youth led enterprises. At Allavida she raised US$1M to support a youth development program before stepping down to found Youth Banner.
